Whifs Flapjack House - Drumheller

Very good breakfast. ask for hashbrowns crispy and they will deep fry them. pancakes are big and fluffy. carpet needs to be replaced as it really brings down the appearance of the place. they coffe is good but a little on the weak side.

The motel the restaurant is in is a dive but the food is good! Especially recommend the latkes, they were divine! The service was good and it's very family friendly, my toddlers loved the train in the ceiling.

After having spent a wonderful weekend at the loud as hell festival, my friends and I had the grave misfortune and the poor judgment of visiting this establishment. The only taint of my visit to drumheller.I can appreciate the fact that the place was busy. Yet I have frequented a variety of restaurants/bars/pubs across the world where the place is packed to the brim. It is a constant with the staff to have a friendly yet apologetic demeanour when one has to wait a gross amount of time to be served. I saw none of this.We had to wait a decent amount of time to be seated. Over an hour to get our food plus a good 10 to 15 minute wait to pay. They forgot parts of the order. Couldn't time each of our plates to be ready at the same time. I saw my friends burger sitting under the heat lamp for 15 minutes - it was not exactly fresh. I ordered a meal that had the sounds for one wanting to be gluttonous - no such thing. A monstrous disappointment as I hadn't had a real meal in 3 days.One of the staff actually got angry at the fact we all wanted a refill on our watered down...weak coffee. After grudgingly giving us our coffee (finally) she stalks off muttering about having to do her job. If I could give a 0 star I would in a heartbeat. It was a complete and utter joke. I do not dine and dash yet the horrible service almost made me do so. I hope drumheller gets another restaurant of the like soon. Perhaps a bit of competition will teach them a thing or two. Or run the business into the ground.Never again.

We went for breakfast ( they open at 6 am ! ) and were thrilled to see great choices that a celiac could eat as well as a person on a keto diet could eat ! Not just your average bland breakfast fair but great choices like cottage cheese and tomato slices with my omelet instead of toast ! Home made hashbrowns for the guys, even fried perogies if one so desired !

This place is one of the only places open for breakfast. The breakfast special was good and not over priced. The kids loved the train that went around the room. Great breakfast fair.
