Delicious, tender, and juicy pulled pork! Yum! Located conveniently inside the All American Club in Duluth. The kids loved their mac n’ cheese too. We will definitely stop again!
I was in the Duluth area and my son was craving bbq so we tried this place out. It's located in the very back but the signage is easy to locate. We ordered 2 pulled pork sandwiches and half rack of ribs. Sides we had Mac and cheese, baked beans and pasta salad. The Mac and cheese had serious cheese pull. The ribs were a little dry but I had no sauce cause my kiddo used it all for his pulled pork. Service was great and love supporting small businesses. There are tables to sit at but we took it back to our hotel.
Something was off here. When we got there we ordered and were super excited based off the previous reviews. Our food took over 45 min to come out which was very odd to me for a BBQ place. Keep in mind we were the only ones in there for food when we placed the order. The ribs were $45 and were fine but maybe I was just starving hungry. Nothing special. Dry and tough. The pulled pork and potato salad were inedible. The Mac cheese was an odd one. They brought out 2 separate orders of it. The first order was great. The 2nd order looked and tasted like boxed macaroni. I'm honestly not sure what to even think about this place, but something was off. If they didn't have items or were out, I wish they would have said something. Honestly and standing behind your product is #1 on my list and there was no attempt to say hey sorry we don't have that let's find a solution or an attempt to explain why ribs and pulled pork takes 45 minutes. There's no reason to spend $84 for subpar food. We won't be back.
TLDR: Friendly local business in surprising locale with AMAZING food!We were in Duluth for the long weekend, and came across this barbecue place online. We were a little surprised it was in the back of an Elks Lodge, but it was worth taking a chance. The food was outstanding and the servers were extremely personable. We could tell it was a good small, local business and will make return trips when we are back in the area. It was also a welcome price drop compared to the restaurants most visitors in Duluth frequent. The pulled pork was so delicious it probably didn't even need the BBQ sauce on it.
