Taberna Tapas - Durham

Every dish was delicious but especially the bacon wrapped dates were amazingly decadent!

The AC didn't seem to be working very well. We were in a booth and it was extremely hot. But if you got up and walked to the bathroom, it was at least 10 degrees cooler in that area. Other than that, food was DELICIOUS. Paella and chocolate mousse may have been my two faves. But I would order all of the Tapas again in a heartbeat. Coming back when its cooler.

It was a great way to celebrate a birthday. We were very well taken care of and it was reminiscent of being in Spain with delicious wine and flavorful tapas. Looking forward to returning soon!

This place has amazing tapas for being located in the United States. Seriously, great tapas are hard to come by in this country...the vast array of choices is great! And I have to say, every one of the 8 tapas we ordered for the table was fantastic. Even the sangria was really good. And to top it off, our waiter was really on point--was able to answer all of our questions and continually topped off our water glasses, poured our wine, and kept the table clean by removing the empty tapas plates in a timely manner. All-in-all, we highly recommend Taberna Tapas.

This was by far one of my favorite dining experiences I’ve had in Durham. First, our server was spectacular, attentive, and gave amazing recommendations. Second, the food was incredible. My friend and I went for my birthday, so we splurged a little. We tried the octopus, crab stuffed pawuillo peppers, jamon croquetas, and the 16oz ribeye with garlic toast. Everything was awesome. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and my favorite thing on the menu. I’m coming back here very often now.
