Papavero - Edinburgh

Unfortunately we were really inconsistent with the service time and eating. Not only our food lasted half an hour, we ordered starters and mine.

This restaurant was a sweat. we ordered appetizers because we were not too hungry and when they were delivered to our table, it was partly so tiny.

We came to a late dinner and had to go to ourselves. excellent service, delicious food and especially for a reasonable price (my Scottish heritage).

We stumbled papavero at our last day in edinburgh and had a nice, cozy meal in an intimate environment. my companion thought that was the best we had in a week, although this was due to the fact that we were on a group tour and most of our meals in hotels had to be qualified. the tintenlatine with sun-dried tomaten was fantastic, the pizza was in order. great drink selection, I had two glasses falanghina wein and my companion had scotch. Meals was a fantastic one.

Food was extremely tasty and portions were great with a wide ranging menu. Excellent service and hosts were really friendly. If you're happy to drift a couple of minutes off the main street, you won't be disappointed!
