Kfc - Elgin

I found it quite challenging to communicate with the girl at the counter. She also mixed up my order. The chicken I received tasted either old or overcooked.

This location lacks extra crispy chicken, biscuits, and staff who are knowledgeable about taking orders.

The dining area was supposed to be open, but it actually closed an hour early, which caused a backup at the drive-thru.

My food order was assembled quickly allowing me to get home to my family in a timely manner. The 12 piece chicken bucket meal with mac n cheese, mashed potatoes with gravy, cole slaw and biscuits was delicious. The chicken fingers meal was unfortunately not very good. The ends of several of the chicken fingers were not edible due to being overcooked and so hard they couldn't be bitten into. Not sure if the chicken fingers had been prepared and cooked several hours ago and were just extremely over cooked.

Fresh food, little longer wait time then expected, that's I'm sure due to understaff
