Health Freak Cafe - ELLENBROOK

I wasn't sure what to expect with this one, but so glad we went. The food was delicious! mouth wateringly so. generous portions, really tasty & a good variety on the menu. We'll be back!

Dropped in for a light lunch (first time here) and discovered the menu to have a wide selection to suit most tastes. We had pulled pork sliders and sweet potato chips with a couple of long black coffees. All very good - esp. sweet potato chips.Most impressed and we'll be back again!!

My friend and I got a "Cookies and Cream" smoothie from the Cafe on Friday. It was a healthy version so it had almonds, banana, raw cacao and coconut water. It was $10 so I expecting a nice thick tasty smoothie as I make healthy smoothies myself at home with the exact same ingredients. The signs out the front lured us in. But unfortunately it was a disappointment, it was watery and the almonds were not mixed for long enough so it the chunks kept getting caught in the straw and where was the banana? It was not what I was expecting and the store looked under staffed. My friend and I were really disappointed, the food looked good but I definitely would not go back for a smoothie.

Typing this after a very disappointing breakfast, where $50 bought two plates and two juices.I travel a lot so have plenty of experience to compare, and when I order poached eggs expect a runny yolk and tasty mix of flavours. This was very dry with hard yolks, not much flavour, and plates sitting on the table for 20 minutes after finished eating.I have stayed with my plate to give feedback, but no one here as yet.Definitely won't be coming back, especially where there are plenty of good quality local alternatives available, without the novelty health food price tag.

This place seems to totally skimp out compared to the other health freak cafe stores. Value for money is not there what so ever. The girl behind the counter was very blasé and didn't seem to want to be there. Then received my cocowhip affogato which I was so disappointed by came with the tiniest scoop of cocowhip then the coffee to go with it. The other stores fill the cup right up and sprinkle with delicious chocolate or the one in Scarborough has their own amazing topping. This was literally a splash of ice cream and coffee. Nothing to wow! Being a new store you'd be expecting above and beyond but no I'd drive to Scarborough from Ellenbrook for better service and value for money.
