The Pic•a•nic Basket - Ennis

Stopped into this little gem for breakfast and coffee. We sat out in the sun and completely enjoyed it. Coffees (Latte and drip) were delicious. The pancakes and sausage were amazing and the maple butter they come with was awesome. Super friendly service.

This place is incredible. I had the best sandwich side salad (for $6! I’ve had in idk how long. The huckleberry lemonade was AMAZING!! Legend has it there’s a master chef in the back named Sydney fixin’ it all. And the two girls out front were nice and have smiles that light up the place. Thanks ladies :

Zara catered a meal for our family gathering last night in Ennis. The food was fresh and delicious, seasoned well, and presented beautifully. There were plenty of kid-friendly options. Zara was prompt and friendly and clearly took pride in her work! We’ve also visited her restaurants in town and highly recommend. It was especially nice to have a family gathering after a long day of travel and not worry about cooking and cleaning. Zara’s catering was a happily received gift!

The Pic-A-Nic Basket is one of my favorite spots in Ennis! I've ordered breakfast, lunch, and the Pic-A-Wok specials as well! My favorite lunch special is the Bear Club, it is a must try! The sandwich is packed with meats and veggies and so so good!! My kids love the pancake breakfast, and the kids menu is well priced and food my kids actually eat!! We usually grab our food to go, but the community table they have there available is such a great idea!
