If it weren’t for him, I would have just turned around and left.Tired 3 beers and none were what I’d classify as excellent, with the third being a “Raspberry Zero” that tasted like old fermented wine. It was 0/10.Bar and building itself was very nice and modern.Maybe on a big travel weekend, when there’s a lot of travelers, it’s a cool place. But this particular Saturday, meh.
Staff always amazing and friendly. Beer is always cold and crisp with a nice variety. Love when they have food trucks.Food: 5/5
Love the atmosphere and the food trucks. I really enjoy trying the different beers they have on tap, all of the bartenders are amazing and so friendly. A must when you are in Erwin
I happened to be in Erwin, Tennessee, and had dinner at the Union Street Taproom, IPA though not the Highlander IPA I wanted and thought was on tap and a food truck breakfast burrito I didn't expect but, along with energy of patrons, made for a great evening. I would go back, hoping for Highlander and dinner rather than breakfast.
Y'all, I was here to hike and maybe stop in for some drinks but this jewel of a true taproom is now one of my all time favorites the hospitality and great selection of IPAs along with the overwhelmingly welcoming atmosphere will keep me coming back. Michael, the owner, is a great dude and Hannah is an exceptional barkeep. Thank y'all for making my time in Erwin a blast. See y'all again soon especially recommend this place for hikers in the area.
