Lots on the menu to choose from. We had the small poutine and had cheesy fries. Large portions, tasty slightly smokey gravy, lots of curds. Because they put the chips, cheese, and gravy on both sides of the clam shell, and then close it up (held together with an elastic) the curds melt deliciously and get really stringy. Yum! The cheesy fries were an interesting change of pace. Did not taste like velveeta or cheez whizz. We'll be back. Not sure if I will try the onion ring poutine or not.
The food was awesome! We got fish and chips, pickerel and whitefish. Light batter and very crispy, fries were crispy as well. I opened the bag on the way home so everything was still crispy when we got to our parents house. We highly recommend stopping and enjoying the food. Thank you for an amazing dinner!
Huge portions, fantastic burgers (thank you for accommodating our topping requests) and yummy fries. The mac n cheese bites were hot and gooey and the cheese sauce on the fries was really tasty. You could tell everything was freshly cooked. The lady at the window was quite friendly as well. I have a feeling this will be a road trip stop from now on for us when we go north. Best to stop and eat it while it's hot.
WOW!!! Hats off to the Chef! What an amazing meal. This was also my first time ordering fish out and it was such a great experience. I suggest noone passes through Espanola without stopping. I will be going back before I leave. Cheers
Had the whitefish dinner (with an extra piece of fish). It was busy (about a 20 minute wait which is certainly acceptable). Staff was friendly and polite. Dinner was shared between 2 adults. It was a good amount, was reasonably priced and was really good! Gravey also really tasty. Would certainly recommend!!
