This is a lovely spot to have lunch after a hike in the Cirque de Lescun. Tables are outside with a view of the Pyrenees we saw another restaurant in the town square filled with patrons and were confused why anyone would choose to eat in a deserted square when you could eat instead just a hundred metres away in a more natural and peaceful setting. The meal did not disappoint the portions are plentiful and the food delicious. My husband had the pork shoulder and I had the duck breast both served with a bit of salad and local cheese (brebis) and a generous portion of homemade chips. Even though the owners were sceptical when I asked for my duck well done, they cooked it to perfection. We ordered a carafe of local rose (2 glasses each absolutely delicious) and we both had desserts the creme brûlée and the pannacotta with blueberries (the latter truly exceptional). They also make a traditional sponge cake with blueberries to take away we ordered that as well (we’ve just had it this evening and it was delicious with a bit of cream)! The whole meal for 2 with wine including the dessert to take away was 51 euros. Best of all, the couple who run this restaurant are so warm and friendly and we had a lovely long chat with them after our meal. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone going for a walk starting or ending in Lescun (or anything in between).

We find this place of pure chance, as it is a little hidden. But it was worth it. to start, the location is very nice, with good views. We were quickly settled on a table, and they put some parasols on us to make us more comfortable. the very good food, all, even the children, we ask duck magret. good ration and well cooked, at your point. and desserts a wonder, to highlight the cotta panna with blueberries and the creme brulee. but the best the owners. nice, nice, attentive. even the owner called to another place to sell us the cheese that came with the magret, which my niece loved. the owner was talking to us about our home town, we saw photos. It made us feel like in our house. If we go back to the area, we'll repeat insurance. a greeting from the village family
