Ward Eight - Evanston

This restaurant is definitely on the expensive side, but the atmosphere is very relaxed and the bartenders are extremely friendly. We just found out that they have a fantastic trio that performs live music every Monday night starting around 7:30. I cannot recommend them enough - the Diamond Jim Greene Trio! I also suggest trying the Hemingway cocktail, it's delicious.

Classy place! Wide array of libations and good food. I very much enjoyed the the Old Fashioned! They have tea pickled eggs as well (don’t knock it until you try it).

Can't say one bad thing about this place. Fab cocktails, yummy small plates and an ambiance that is a slice of heaven.

This place is a gem! The service, the food, the music, and ohmygod the drinks! All exceptional.
