Maxsell's - Florence

We love Maxsells. The atmosphere is wonderful and the view (over the lake) is also. Staff and new owners are very attentive and professional. The menu has great selection and the food is excellent!

On Tuesday night from Maxsell to beer dinner. Four courses of ingenious food paired with delicious brews and it is worth in a snowstorm for! A special place for a special culinary opportunity, if you were not yet there, you are missing.

Not only my family and I have an excellent dinner here, but they also organized my wedding ceremony. Maxsells Restaurant and Suites is a beautiful location for a wedding! The naval scene was exactly what I was looking for when planning my wedding. Sarah and her staff did everything they could to make my day stress-free and make sure everything went out without a torch. The service we received was enormous. The master suite in which I stayed was very well decorated and also large enough to accommodate all my ladies while we were ready for the day. I could not recommend getting married here enough!!! The location is beautiful and the service is fantastic. Thank you. Sarah, to help me have a perfect wedding!

Fantastic food! Scott Ash is an amazing cook, and Sarah Ash has great taste in wine. The wine and beer pair dinners are not to be missed!

Had dinner at Maxsells and not only was the food great our waitress was top notch as well. In addition we also had our daughter's wedding there not only did we have a wonderful view, Sarah and her staff made sure everything was perfect. We also stayed in the guest rooms above the restaurant very clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated.
