Feedback gevenFlowood MS location has really gone down hill! Not the first time that the food came out wrong. Missing important elements of the entrées, overcooked or burnt looking. The only thing that came out right was the sharable appetizer. I like Applebee's but with go to a different location from now on.
Everything was lovely from the host to the servers so recommend this location
After being disappointed by the Ridgeland location, my family and I decided to give the Flowood location of Applebee's a try. We enjoy dining out at Applebee's, and we were pleased with our experience. Our server, Princess, was amazing and provided excellent service. The food was also great as usual.
To begin, I want to mention that the person working as the host at Stan's restaurant was sitting down and looked at me without making any effort to greet me when I sat at a table to order. No one came to take my order or offer me water. Despite a waiter glancing at me from a table at the other end of the room, they did not come over to see what I wanted to order. It seems like Applebee's will not be getting any more of my money, as their priority seemed to be getting tips at the bar rather than serving the guests in the dining area. I hope the establishment in Flowood, Mississippi improves their service, as the waitresses inside were very negligent. I will not be ordering from them again and will make sure to inform my friends and coworkers about my experience. Thank you and have a great day.
I am writing this review because if it's not a five star Michelin chef making your food, it is likely to be subpar. I visited this restaurant on Mother's Day weekend to pick up an order. With over 30 years of experience cooking in upscale and more casual eateries, I can usually tell when the food is prepared by a man. My ribs tasted burnt and had a strong smokey flavor, even though they weren't actually burned. It seems that they were placed on a dirty grill without grill marks to get the smoke flavor, then thrown in the oven, resulting in tough, burnt-tasting ribs. Whoever prepared them did a rush and poor job, ultimately ruining the dish.
