Had no flavor the beans were dried up and hard on all of our plates. I got my child a taco plate of 3 Al pastor and they were extremely salty . I got myself the guiso rojo and the meat was hard and not much of the sauce but more on the greasy side . We tried eating it but it all remained not even my kids wanted to eat . So many positive reviews but sadly this wasn’t the case for us . Will not be returning .
La Tienda Escondida has been my go to since I moved to Crandall. They have delicious hot meals- tacos, tortas, sopes and fajita/carnitas by the pound. They also sell hot fresh tortillas (flour and corn). Oh, almost forgot about their bakery! Did I also mention they have a little meat market and grocery store. It’s kind of like a little piece of La Michoacána store. Definitely recommended it. I go at least 2-3 time a week and yes I’m a little embarrassed by it lol
Went to this place yesterday to pick up some fejita to throw on the grill! Staff was really nice and helpful when it came to getting the right amount. I feel like their location could hurt their business because i wouldn’t have even know it was there unless someone told me. I never share business stuff but this one was worth it! Get up there and tell ‘em Jeremy sent ya! Highly recommend to all my forney peeps!!!
For Texas, this Mexican food is good. Not the same as California Mexican food. But this is as close as you can get to it. Definitely one of the best tasting Mexican food I've eaten here.
Meat market is great. My friend raves about the barbocoa tacos but I havent tried them yet. Everytime he stops in to pick up meat, he gets tacos from the restaurant side as well.
