Delightfulness - Fort Augustus

We absolutely adored this place during our visit to Fort Augustus. The soup was delicious, the rolls were fantastic, and the ice cream was delightful. After our first visit, we found ourselves returning every day. On our last day, we even shortened a trail run on the higher Great Glen Way just to make it back in time for one last cup of their soup! The food was wonderful, and the owners were warm and inviting. We highly recommend this spot. Thank you!

We ordered stovies and a ham sandwich on a bagel, and both were fantastic. The people running the shop are also lovely. I would definitely recommend it for a quick meal or a coffee!

Delicious and well-priced (for the area) sandwiches. I had the roast beef and my friend had the chicken and mushroom baguette, both were delicious and very filling. The owners were lovely and we enjoyed sitting in the window overlooking the canal. Highly recommend.

Amazing Ice Cream: Raspberry White Chocolate, Eton Mess, Orange Sorbet, and Vegan Apple were all fantastic. There were around 20 flavors to choose from in total. Since we got the very last of the Raspberry White Chocolate, they didn't charge us for what was scooped from the tub—such a nice gesture! The shop is small, so you can expect a line outside. On this visit, we didn’t check out the other offerings, but we'll update this review with more information on our next trip.

Came for an ice cream on a lunch break on a highlands tour. I would particularly recommend the toffee flavour. The owners were absolutely lovely. Ice cream was stunning!
