Sunset Lounge - Fort Collins

Such a lovely location with views of Fort Collins and the mountains. The live jazz piano was the perfect touch. Dietary requests were easily taken care of. I would definitely book again.

High tea was fine to experience 1 time but is overpriced but atmosphere is nice although we left hungry. We won’t be back.

The venue has lovely views of the city sky. The chairs/couches were cozy and a nice change from a traditional dining establishment. The small coffee table we had was very tight for 3 persons to have their tea and plate of snacks. The tea selections were nice and I appreciated that they refilled our cups frequently. The food itself was good but did not feel substantial enough to justify the $55 per person tax gratuity price. I have been to many teas within the state of Colorado and the price for this one is on the high end. For service in the same price range, generally the food offerings include sandwiches egg salad, chicken salad, cucumber, etc possibly a salad, a quiche, a sausage roll, and so on. For the offerings given here, I felt it was equivalent to places I have gone in the $35 per person range. I just expected more for the price. This was a one and done experience for me at this location. I left still wanting more to eat and feeling disappointed that I spent over $200 for 3 of us to have afternoon tea and we were still a little hungry.

The venue is amazing! So lovely, very attentive waiters, professional pianist played while we dined. I was not impressed by the food though, and the waiters carried out tea as opposed to leaving a teapot on the table. Sometimes the tea they served was lukewarm and other times piping hot so that was a disappointment. Nevertheless we had a nice time and again, the location could not be beat

The food was excellent but there just wasn't enough of it. We weren't expecting to fill up but we also weren't expecting to have to stop and get lunch somewhere else after. For $55 a person, we felt that we should get a little more food. Ambience was great and the staff were fab.
