I wouldn't give any stars. Since Rachel and the previous owner departed, the quality has declined. I continued to visit the deli and even left tips, but the cashier, Ana, was rude and displayed racist behavior. They might not allow this review to be published, and that's fine with me because they will never see another cent of my money. I urge Black customers to be cautious!

This is my favorite sandwich spot in downtown Frederick. The deli has a charming old-school vibe that I really love. Every sandwich is made fresh and tastes amazing. I especially enjoy the chicken salad, tuna, and lemon chicken sandwiches every time I go. The deli is very clean, and the staff is exceptionally friendly. If you're in the area, definitely stop by for a quick meal—they have a menu full of tempting options, including sandwiches, soups, salads, drinks, and chips.

If you’ve been longing for a deli from up north, make the trip—whether by car or on foot— to this place and indulge in what they have to offer! The atmosphere is really inviting, and the location is perfect, plus it’s never too crowded. The Reubens are exceptional, and their unique take on a Cuban sandwich is definitely worth sampling!
