The Garrison - Freeport

I was twice in the garrison, once for brunch and recently for dinner. I love everything about this place, the atmosphere, the service, the drinks and the eating. a small menu that should have something to suit everyone (w and gf included the eating is excellent and they don't let starving. definitiw a go-to for a special occasion or just to treat a really nice dinner.

Delicious meal and very good service. I especially appreciated the chef giving me not 1 but 3 alternatives for the cod dish on the menu because the chorizo couldn’t be omitted. The tempura scallop appetizer was amazing. Our 1st visit, but won’t be our last.

An original! Splendid meal combinations and presentations in midst of unique, rustic, artsy cavern overlooking Royal River. Bar is very stylish and open kitchen...deserved feature. Knowledgeable and pleasant staff capped a wonderful visit! Must try!

What an incredible meal by such a talented team!! I thought I was just going to have dinner but this was truly a culinary experience that far exceeded any expectations that I had. The combination of flavors was unique and absolutely amazing. Paired with the friendliest of staff and an overall chill vibe this place is a gem and I can't wait to come back!!

We arrived hungry and left hungry. I’m giving three stars for the atmosphere, bar staff and wine. We had a 7:30 dinner reservation, when we arrived the entrees where already sold out. The serving size for the small plates were a joke. Three paper thin slivers of a scallop, 3 small mushrooms, three very small thin slices of tuna (1 inch by 1 inch) with the beets and two glasses of wine $145. We ate dinner else where afterwards. I’m writing this review for others who may not be aware of the need to eat dinner before you arrive.
