Cafe Central - Freising

After having had a long week of hard work redecorating my daughter and son-in-law's apartment I was able to take a break. My son-in-law took me hostage from my daughter and whisked me off into the heart of Freising where we visited this lovely café. There I enjoyed the hardy coffee along w/a delectable Hazelnuss Torte. I would have eaten from their menu but I was quite content w/dessert alone. The torte was firm but fluffy and not overbearingly sweet. It had a mocha flavor and due to the hazelnut it had a hint of earthy tone. It was quite large so I shared it w/my sweet son-in-law. This café was clean and friendly and they didn't mind that my son-in-law and I lingered in conversation. It was also reasonable. The atmosphere was classy contemporary. Café Central is well worth stopping in to enjoy any one of their delectable desserts including a well deserved break.

Popped in here for cakes and coffees, a great choice of traditional Bavarian cakes and pastries and some amazing ice creams. Very smart store.
