Feedback gevenLast year, I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant. It has limited operating hours and sometimes they run out of gas. The menu consists of a few small food items and it is only open a few days a week. They prioritize efficiency and don't waste time when it comes to serving meals and drinks.
This restaurant is located in one of the most beautiful wildlife areas in southern Ontario. We spent several days exploring the natural surroundings and couldn't have been happier with our stay. The new owners made sure everything was perfect for us. We absolutely loved this retreat and can't wait to return.
After years of vacationing in this area, we finally discovered this place and decided to give it a review. The dinner was decent and the building, which used to be a lodge, has a casual atmosphere but could use some renovations for both the restaurant and dining areas. The location and setting are beautiful, right on the water, and the staff were very accommodating. We had a nice chat with the owner and had an overall pleasant experience.
Our first visit we were very disappointed while staying close, eating was rough, service was slow and rude. no good experience. Although many have recommended us this place again, we gave him a second chance for Sunday brunch, which was amazing,...a lot of choice, good service. even wifi! still leary to go to dinner again
Had the best pickerel I have ever had. But it was prepared differently and may not be to everyone's liking. The pie and ice cream was also delicious. The rest of the meal was okay. But this resto is off the beaten path. I would...not drive too far out of my way to go but would return if ever down HWY 522.
