The owner of the very mythological during the preparation of your meal and does everything from scratch. The interesting thing is that it really plates, but you get a grill at your table. Very recommended.. But be sure to warn that there is probably a wait, the cool thing is that you allow two order and drink your beer/white while waiting for your table.
Three times in the last two days. The owner and his son are both amazing and the food is fantastic. The owner does not speak much English, but is very happy to chat if you want to practice Japanese. His son can speak English enough for everything you need. The okonomiyaki is amazing in size taste and cost.
Great and authentic. I like the Okonomiyaki version they made with the egg, rice and cheese! The Yakisoba noodles with the Kimchi and the egg were my favorite. I have to sit right when we got in, but we'll say there's a short waiting time for the food. We don't mind the 5th. Restaurant was that we had tried when everything was full or understated. We really haven't waited so long and enjoyed our experience.
This tiny little restaurant serves great Okonomiyaki! B.O.S. has only 2 tables and a small bar counter which is space for maybe 12 to 14 guests in total. We had Okonomiyaki with squid, shrimps, cheese and bacon. Never had Okonomiyaki with cheese before, but it really tasted very delicious. The chef is preparing the food right in front of you if you choose to sit at the bar. Nice and friendly staff and English is no problem at all. If you want to have a quick dinner, or enjoy having some beer and Okonomiyaki with friends, that’s the place in Hakuba! I definitely recommend this place.
Food was so good! Owner is super sassy and runs the whole place with no help at all. Absolutely recommend anyone to go here when visiting Hakuba for great portion sizes, great quality food and all at a reasonable price. We are booked to come back again before we leave town, it's that good.
