Our waiter was very busy..he was the bartender busboy waiter server. We tiped him well only because he was doing so much and working hard. He clearly wasn 't happy about that however... He needs more training, For instance... He took 6 orders from our 2 tables and as he went from person to person he 'd say... Next ..... Next ... Next ??? We paid good money to eat here and were treated like we were waiting in a line at Walmart so he needs the correct training on how to take food orders. Also serving our food... his thumb was in it while passing our plates... no gloves...Um....thats just gross. I commend him on running nonstop serving, cleaning tables, and whatever duties he had and on top of that as staff was very limited but not our fault...more training in the future would boost your business... Also they were out of alot of things that we wanted which was a bummer

It was great especially Melissa she was an amazing waitress great food great service great atmosphere especially for someone who doesn’t do cheat meals this is one of the best places in Iowa if you want actual good food Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

Best Steak in Ames area! First-class Iowa beef! Amazing thin cut (haystack), handmade onion rings. Fresh, locally grown oyster mushrooms. Or get the Freddy's Special handmade potato wedges, with onion rings, with Cheddar cheese sauce, delicious?. Great drinks big beer list too.
