Mad Monks - Gillitts

This charming little spot in Botha's Hill features a delightful menu. Everything is made from scratch by the owners themselves. The vegetarian patty is moist and juicy, a refreshing change from the often dry options found elsewhere. I personally recommend the vegetarian burger topped with cream cheese and jalapeños!

Mad Monks is one of my favorite spots to relax. I especially love their delicious prawn, chicken, and lamb curries served on Wednesdays, accompanied by tasty fresh-baked bread. The warm hospitality and friendly nature of the owners, Jamie and Kathy, along with staff member Gcwensa, make the experience even better. My kids also appreciate the children's menu. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

A quiet and scenic little restaurant with gorgeous food. incredibly welcoming and friendly staff never had a bad time here!!! would highly recommend.

Always good friendly service, and definitely the best chips in town. If you are looking for good food, the burgers are great, and the Wednesday curry night is always excellent.
