Uawa Cafe - Gisborne

My daughter couldn't stop raving about how delicious her cheeseburger was. The portion size was generous, and the ingredients were fresh. The hot chips were perfectly cooked as well. We were also pleasantly surprised by how quickly our order arrived. Next time, we'll make sure to take a photo of our meal!

What a charming little café! The staff are incredibly friendly. Since I’m gluten-free, I often struggle to find cafés outside the big cities that cater to my dietary needs, but they were very accommodating here. The coffee and food were delightful, and I was thoroughly impressed!

We ordered takeout when we visited the pub, and the shop was bustling with activity, which was a good sign. The burgers were definitely worth the wait! The locals were friendly, and I have to say, the fish and egg burger deserves a solid 5 stars.

Awesome food. Great service. Primo location. Would dine again. Would recommend to others. My partner I had the Uawa and the Steak Egg burger meals for lunch. Just what we were looking for and happily got.
