Kameha Grand Zurich - Glattpark

We had to stay in Zurich because of the flight cancellation, but surprised with this beautiful hotel. The rooms were clean, but small. Breakfast room has well maintained and good food Verities, it has egg and omelet station, decent coffee machine and selection of bread. As I said, we stayed just one night for flight cancellation, but it seems that the hotel is a good tram connection to the city of Zurich. Staff were helpful and check-in and check-out went smoothly for a group of tired passengers. The design of the hotel is somewhat different, but still functional and has a beautiful touch.

While imaginatively decorated and with “quirky” Swiss thematic rooms, this hotel must decide whether it is an airport, business, conference or tourist venue. At the time of the visit it was not a category to fulfill and left a rather disappointed one. The staff and well-furnished rooms helped me make my stay unforgettable, but the absence of a full-time bar and/or restaurant was an eye opener, especially as this property is located in a relative "dead zone" for many alternatives.

We chose the hotel for a sleep outside our own walls. If you are at home during the Corona times around the clock, you are ready for a change. Without a doubt a nice hotel, cool design, friendly staff, great pizza in the restaurant, beautiful room.... But little things I found angry. Maintenance wasn't great. The main switch for controlling light and blinds broken. Couldn't close the blinds. The hotel TV system is incredibly slow in the room. Useful therefore. The towels are big enough, but no more fluffy. A 5Star? I don't think so. A good 4 stars with some simple improvement requirements.

For 5 star hotel is unacceptable: dirty, no good service, unkind behavior, not at all helpful staff. Disappointed...

Ich war am Mittwoch im Kameha Frühstücken. Obwohl ich erst 9:30 Uhr zum Frühstück kam war das Buffet trotzdem reichhaltig aufgefüllt und alles war frisch und sehr ansprechend präsentiert. Auch der Service war sehr aufmerksam. Besonders die frische Art von Judith hat mir den Morgen versüßt. Ich komm definitiv wieder
