I ordered Chili and BLTs for lunch one day at this restaurant. I waited outside for 30 minutes before I checked on my order and was told it would be another 10 minutes. The chefs and cashier seemed confused and exchanged words and gestures as no one knew what was happening. After an additional 10 minutes of waiting, someone else came out and explained that the chili needed more time to heat up, but we could replace it with soup. Only two of us received our soup, while the other three had to wait another 10 minutes for the BLTs. In the end, we waited an hour to eat an expensive meal, sat outside in the cold, and watched our $110 lift tickets go to waste.
Fantastic coffee and lunch place based on the mountain that is not too expensive. Fantastic cappuccino!
I visited this restaurant twice while staying in the area. Both times I ordered the BLT on gluten-free bread. The first time, I enjoyed my BLT in the restaurant with a freshly brewed hot tea (they have several varieties to choose from). The next day, I grabbed my sandwich to go because I wasn't sure about finding a good gluten-free lunch at my destination. Both times, the sandwiches were delicious with crispy bacon and fresh salad and tomatoes. The gluten-free bread did not disappoint, it was perfectly toasted. I saved the second sandwich to eat later while traveling, and even hours later it still tasted great. My fellow travelers were envious of my lunch and wished they had one for the road too!
Best latte I've had in a long time in Canada. Milk wasn't overcooked, actually sweet from not steaming it to kingdom come (I'm talking about you Starbucks). Coffee was of high quality, freshly roasted. We also had a Ruben brisket sandwich, fantastic. Highly recommend.
