We just got back from a three night stay in Gort and ate here on two of them, very nicely situated in the town square with plenty of parking outside. Great atmosphere and lovely decor added to the experience, staff were attentive and really friendly....We both went for the Cod and chips on the first visit and can honestly say it was the best we`ve had anywhere. Batter crispy and light with plenty of delicious tender Cod, no skin or even one bone to be found. My husband had chicken curry and I the lasagne on our second visit and again we enjoyed our meal very much indeed, the value is excellent. If in the area I recommend you stop in for a drink or a meal, you will not be disappointed.
Quick stop on the way to Kinvara, glad we did, just a toasted special and coffee, great sambo, super coffee and fast pleasrnt service, reccomend if passing
I was looking for a different atmosphere I suppose. The food was good and the people were friendly but It was cafeteria style. There was no background Irish music that would have helped and no décor of interest.
Visited with the family for an evening meal. As we arrived early the bar and restaurant was empty, and therefore lacked atmosphere, but it soon filled up. The food was good delicious. One of our party had the chowder, which was amazing! In all, a...very pleasant meal.
