Lilla Istanbul - Gothenburg

I've been in and out of Sweden for years and go through this restaurant and this time I said, let it do and was not disappointed. The food content is very generous and well cooked. I'm not a stranger for paying for good food and that's very reasonable and will come back next time when I'm in Sweden.

Really good food, this restaurant making the food by the traditional Turkish recipe and thats appreciated. The interior in a good standard and really matches the concept. I was open to order grilled meat but ii changed to lam leg, it was not the best because it was not fresh. The Turkish pizza is fantastic and really good. Ajran or the yoghurt drink is taste good but i don't like to drink it by spoon so i don't recommend. The salad was perfect and generous, full of fresh green leaves and tasty sauce. The bread is perfect and exactly how it should be. One thing i don't like in this restaurant is the staff! They have no idea about the service and they don't know anything about the waiter's job! at least the young lady who served us!

Located near where I work, I was tempted to try this place for a while but I never took my time to dine here. I had the chicken barbecue which I tend to buy when I want to review places, as they are always a good indicator of the food quality. The staff here were friendly and food quality was good. There was not one bite where I felt I disliked the food. Iwould love to see the chicken a bit more tender but other than that, I have nothing to suggest to improve this place. The portion size was generous and I felt full after eating here. I recommend Lilla Istanbul.
