Sat here for birthday dinner. worst eating in one. a steak ordered, by medium rarely asked, it got medium. kartoffeln were cold for me as well as for my partner, who also had steak. I asked for another meal, got a pizza. pizza was ok, but nothing special. I wanted to pay and they told me that I had to pay for my original meal that I did not eat together with the other meal. I pointed out. also one of the owners/cook/owners had people who looked at us all night and he came complaining about my complaint, I claimed not to visit reading at all.

Beautiful old hotel and eat. not in the rooms, but sells very tasty waffeln. large souvenirs including house made sheep skin carpets and soaps

Excellent local cuisine, beautifully prepared. the personal was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

One of the few restaurants in the district to stay open during the height of the summer so that it is infinitely better than those who are closed.
