The Odd Rainbow Restraunt - Grand Manan

Nice and clean restaurant. Recommend fish & chips. Yummy crisp on fish. Our other dishes weren't that great but I don't like to leave negative reviews. Service was good.

This is a low key, rather unassuming place. It is very clean, the staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is very good. We ate here several times and were not disappointed.

My friend is allergic to eggs and the waitress was very unhelpful in accommodating him. He ended up ordering a plate of home fries because she was rude and unhelpful. We did not receive water to drink or any visits from our waitress after she brought our food. She brought our bills (3 separately) without asking if we wanted anything else or how we wanted the bills split up. Overall bad experience and poor service.

Stopped here on our recent visit to Gran Manan. Right away I noticed the decor was very eclectic and fun. Our waitress was very sweet and the service was relatively quick. My wife and mother-in-law had fish and chips. They said it was good. I ordered the nachos, which were not amazing, but not bad either. Prices were decent and the selection was good. They had a burger called "The Grand Mananer" which has dulse on it. I almost ordered it. Maybe next time.

This is a locally run restaurant with some unique charm. I believe they have a full liquor license, but we didn't have any. We had a meal in the middle of the afternoon, so service was no problem. It seems that many restaurants in the Atlantic Provinces take their time bringing out the orders and this one is no different. I'd like to think that it's because they are preparing everything from scratch, but who knows? We were on a relaxed schedule so it didn't matter to us. The food was tasty, but not spectacular. Presentation was also nothing special, but the portions were large.
