The Pie Place Cafe - Grand Marais

Raspberry Rhubarb! The service was outstanding; they went above and beyond, even breaking some rules to make our experience special!

Amazing food! We make sure to stop here every time we visit Grand Marais.

My husband had the blackberry lemonade, which he enjoyed but noted was extremely sweet, along with the fish and chips. He commented that the fish was adequately thickly breaded, so be aware that if you’re used to the thin, heavily fried variety (which I personally prefer), this might be different for you. The fries we had were both good. We didn’t get pie this time, but it looked delicious, and the table next to us couldn't stop praising it. The prices seemed a bit high, but we were seated immediately and the food was enjoyable, so it’s hard to complain. Our server (I can't recall his name, but he wore a red/yellow/blue bracelet) was very nice and originally from Romania, so if you happen to speak Romanian, feel free to say hello! Or "multumesc" when you leave.

One of the top spots in GM for a meal at any time! You absolutely have to try the maple sausage for breakfast and any of the fruit pies. They're delicious!

This restaurant is exceptional, featuring the finest bakery! The chefs are truly amazing, and the manager is a true gentleman!
