Wow! The Pork and Green Chile Tamale was outstanding, and the Sweet Corn Tamale was a delightful surprise. But seriously, you have to try the beans! They were fantastic! The value you get for the price in terms of quantity and quality is remarkable. The tamales are excellent, but have I mentioned the beans?! Delicious!

Finding good tamales can be surprisingly challenging, perhaps because I grew up enjoying my great grandmother's homemade versions. However, the tamales from Tamale Factory are fantastic! The meat-to-masa ratio is perfect, and they are wonderfully moist. I had intended to make my own for Christmas, but I think I’ll just be picking some up from here instead.

This restaurant primarily focuses on takeout, offering individual Mexican dinners and three types of tamales sold by the dozen. The homemade food is very flavorful and comes with sour cream and two types of sauces upon request. I will definitely return. The quality is excellent, and the service is very friendly and quick.

We ordered a dozen half chicken tacos with red salsa and pork tacos with green salsa. They were flavorful, but I was surprised by the amount of filling and the small amount of meat inside. This made them a bit dry. Despite that, I’m still looking forward to returning to try other flavors.

As first impressions go, I've finally found a place in Portland that serves REAL TAMALES. You can really taste the love in these handmade delights, and I appreciate that. We ordered a mixed dozen, selecting pork, chicken, and jalapeño cheese tamales, which came with a side of rice and beans. The tamales were generously filled and so flavorful—definitely not dry at all. The salsas were delicious too! I can only imagine that the horchata is made just as well, although they had run out for the day. I’ll definitely be back to try the Oaxacan-style tamales and horchata—if I’m lucky enough to get some, because they seem to go quickly, which is a good sign in my opinion!
