So wonderful eating, fantastic service, a beautiful atmosphere - we will be safe again soon! the tapas menu was really unique and had a lot of delicious food to taste

Yasser offers regional dinners. Last night we were from the region Alsace. pickerel is delicious, but I wasn't sure it was paired with sour wort. I later discovered that this region has close connections to France. four courses. all delicious. in. defense of this restaurant, which read some of the bad reviews....it looks like someone would have a 'bone' with the owner to choose. do not let these clouds impress her. we have dined in/had brunch/done takeout/ordered food for another family and it was always consistently good.

This was our second time having dinner here. On our first visit there were definitely service issues. We spoke to the owner and he gracefully apologized and ensured us it was due to recent new hires. We appreciated his concern and because the food was...good we decided to try again. From the very start things did not go well. After being seated we were asked if we wanted water. The water was brought to us and the waiter said absolutely nothing to us...no welcome or “how are you?” ..he left the water and did not ask if we wanted anything else to drink ...nothing! We then waited 15 minutes for any wait staff to even acknowledge our presence..we were about 10 seconds away from leaving. It was terribly awkward because we had our daughter with us. To make matters worse..there was a table for 2 who arrived AFTER us and they were doted on..they had their wine and order in and we had not even been acknowledged! By the time someone finally came to take our drink order (we were ready to order our food of course)...that table for 2..well they were already well into their appetizers! And then we waited..and waited..and waited..the table for 2 had their entrees and we finally got our salad and cheese plate. And then more waiting...45 minutes we had our meal..it was “okay” at best. The chicken and corn fritters were nothing special, very small portion and lacking in presentation. On a side note, we had the courtesy to tell the waitress what had occurred with service and about the past negative experience. She said she would “pass it along”...hmmmmm Well needless to say we will not be going back. We really wanted this place to be a favourite of ours. We appreciate good food but good food with poor service is a fail. We have dined out extensively and internationally. Diners should be welcomed whole heartedly and feel taken care of, not ignored. We can accept that fresh ingredients can take time to prepare however when you see a table that came in after us attended to and doted on all night eating their entrees before we even see our appetizers it is outright insulting! Not to mention...we received our entrees at the same time as a table that had ordered about 30 minutes after we ordered! Who dropped the ball??

Once again, yasser made a great job on a delicious tapas menu and wine selection. a beautiful place in an old house at the rande of the inner city.

Perfect evening and beautiful tapas menu! that is a very special restaurant. check the menu online before the reservation! it is a bit like visiting a friend home, they are served what they have prepared lovingly. great place for date night or special event. the terrace is beautiful and spacious. the chef turns the menu regularly to offer different dishes from different france and the medium sea region. there is only a small team, so a bit geduld with the service and they are rewarded. here hopes that they will be able to expand their opening times (now only Friday/Saturday dinner), as we will slowly return to the new normal.
