Lovely crêperie in Guern. Very simple and amazing value. Follow wooden signs which start in the village centre going down the hill towards Le Sourn- it's down a side road to the right-and they will take you to this tiny chalet like building just outside the village. It's like walking into someone's home-and you will be given a warm welcome. Goats graze in the back garden and the mirror in the bathroom is a wing mirror. It's an eclectic and fun place! Extraordinary value with a meal for two with two courses and wine for €20. Crêpes are cooked and served one at a time so they are crisp and fresh-and quick-but not all at the same time. Very informal dining-many crêpes of both savoury and sweet are priced under €3 so it's worth trying new things. Drinks are basic but good. Try it if you are nearby-you are very unlikely to regret it!
This is a charming rustic little creperie, a little off the beaten track but well worth finding for a light lunch. There are so many average creperies in Brittany....but this isn't one of them! It's not usually open in the evening but it is open most lunchtimes, check on line. Once a week, it's either Tuesday or Thursday, there are savoury potato galettes, delicious with local butter. The local bottled cider is also delicious.Brigitte is an attentive, welcoming patronne.
Sometimes there is nothing better than a good home cooked meal, with friends, sharing a glass bottle of Cidre. If you want to go out and find it well that can be a problem, but not here. The wonderful Brigitte has this sussed to an absolute tee. My Crepe complet avec Sauce Tomate was so good I ignored the chance to have a sweet crepe and ordered another. What an excellent choice. I think that the Creperie might only be open on Fridays but if you are ever in the area, you have to go, it is fantastic, homely, warm and welcoming and the food is great. I'll be back!
