We were greeted by Katie who promptly took our order and clarified it before ringing up. She even kindly pointed out...the local vernacular for Orange Juice as I was ordering fresh orange (me being Northern We had a little laugh about it and I sat down to await my food. By the time my son returned with our drinks(unlimited refills btw) the breakfast was on the table . Everything perfectly cooked. We went for our complementary drinks and were given fresh cups. The Wetherspoons pubs are always beautifully decorated with heritage features. Rodboro was no exception and I determined to look up its history later. Toilets spotless, staff all had time for a chat, a joke or a smile despite them being busy with the ‘hung over’ student set just arriving for brunch. If the staff are under appreciated they did not show it . I cannot praise them highly enough for looking after us during our visit. Calculating a tip I left at the bar as I left, which shows what great value Wetherspoons is. What a fabulous team of young people. Their manager must be bursting with pride. Keep up this excellent work . I usually have to go abroad for this kind of service, food and value.
This is a JD Wetherspoons located in Guildford town center. It serves well as a pub, but it excels as a dining destination. The kitchen staff here seem to be above average, as evidenced by the delicious full vegetarian breakfast and free refill coffee offered to two club members' wives on a shopping trip. The value for money is great and the quality of the food is excellent.
Not visited Weatherspoons for a while. The menu is almost the same as it was, so it was a bit boring. Daily specials like fish and chips or curry are now available every day. The pizza was a bit crispy and had not had much...flavour. Ordering at the table was easy and meant the drinks came quickly. There were screens between the tables, which meant the dining experience was distanced from others. I would have preferred the food I warmer.
The staff here are excellent. Friendly and efficient. You can't knock the value of the breakfasts. This and the surprisingly upbeat staff makes me swallow my pride, become a bit of a hypocrite and temporarily forget my loathing for the senior management...
Miserable bleached blonde girl having a bad day and trying to take it out on our group. Hope she cheers up soon before she loses you more money. Five and lime was good though!
