Layers Cupcakes - Halifax

The flavours are ok, but these cakes are disgustingly sweet. They simply have way too much sugar in them. It has the finesse of a sledgehammer.

Great service !! I needed special cupcakes delivered to a hotel for a guests birthday and they accommodated right away!

We stopped by to pick up some cupcakes for dessert later in the day and we were not disappointed! There was a large selection to choose from, with a variety of creative flavours. We sampled the chocolate salted caramel and chocolate coconut which were amazing. I wish it didn't end, ever.The lady was very patient while I contemplated my choice.Priced at $5 each, coming to $11.50 for two, they are certainly a treat but well worth it. Highly recommend!

I’ve only ever ordered cakes from Layers, but they are delicious. The cake is rich and sweet, topped with beautiful buttercream frosting that will satisfy any sweet tooth in a matter of seconds. My only criticisms would be the rigidity of the cake designs, not permitting you to add customized writing for a loved one’s birthday, and the richness of the buttercream icing that can be slightly overwhelming if consumed in large slices of cake.
