Rocky's - Hanmer

The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic. They offer both restaurant dining and cabins for rent with stunning views of a lively lake. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. They also have gas available for customers.

We visited Rocky's Diner with a large group of friends, including two children. We were promptly greeted at the door and seated together. Our drinks and orders were quickly served. The fish and chips we ordered were delicious, with perfectly cooked fish and crispy fries. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the restaurant was very clean with a fantastic atmosphere. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town.

This restaurant may not have the most attractive setting, but the food is a must-try. I ordered the pickerel and it was not only delicious, but the portion was generous. The service was excellent, the prices were reasonable, and the view from the top deck was amazing. It's definitely worth a visit.

On Monday afternoon. not sure how service is when busy, but we were immediately served by becky. so nice to have a waitress she knows. order, get it immediately. I ordered food. sat. on the terrace with a beautiful view of the lake wahnapitae. beer was cold, eating was great. a bit out of the way to drive, we drove with the boat.

If this place wasn't so far out of the way we'd be there more. Great views overlooking the lake, and good food. Hamburgers are homemade and juicy , not dry like you usually get. Fishing Chips and the pickerel strips are good. You don't leave...hungry. This time of year there are lots of snowmobilers, but worth the wait for a table. Great fries, great service, great views. Looking forward to our next trip up there.
