Chang Cuisine - Harbor Springs

I highly recommend trying the chicken spring roll. You will not be disappointed! The food, service, and atmosphere all receive a perfect rating of 5.

I was very disappointed with this restaurant. The food was bland and the veggie fried rice had meat in it. The breading on the sesame chicken was doughy. Overall, I would rate the food a 1 out of 5.

We were hoping for a more traditional restaurant experience when we dined at this establishment. The vegetables on the plates were good, the meats were tasty, but the lo mein noodles were disappointing. They were small and spongy, and the sauce wasn't great. When I mentioned that my daughter didn't enjoy the food, there was no response from the staff. While other parts of the meal were okay, we ended up just sharing the rice and soup. The egg drop soup was good, but the serving sizes were small and the prices were high. Overall, it was a decent lunch for the three of us, but it cost almost $90. We ordered spring rolls, sesame chicken with vegetables, lo mein noodles, three waters, and one hot tea. The waiter did check on our drinks twice, so the service was good. Lunch was on a Tuesday.

I have never had worse food in my life than what I experienced at this restaurant. It seems like there must have been a change in ownership since the summer of 2022, when the food was actually quite good. I ordered the garlic chicken and was shocked to find only two extremely thin pieces of chicken skin, with no actual chicken meat. The dish was mostly comprised of sliced mushrooms and onions, with very little substance for the high price of $17. I do not recommend dining here.

The worst Chinese food I’ve ever had. Completely disgusting. Sad it’s the only Chinese in the area. If the Korean beef would have had any more ginger it would’ve had sprouts. Utterly disgusting. Food: 1 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 1
