The Cupcake Shoppe - Hayward

The Cupcake Shoppe had a kiosk type set up on Park Street in Alameda several years ago. They closed it. However, one of my Facebook friends mentioned that the original Cupcake Shoppe was in Hayward. After celebrating my husband's birthday at The Tree House, which is around the corner from the Cupcake Shoppe, I knew this was the next place to stop in to get three cupcakes for the occasion. However, which ones? The Cupcake Shoppe has a nice assortment of different flavored cupcakes. I wanted the mango mousse one, but they only sell that flavor on Tuesdays. The gentleman assisting me told me to take my time to decide which three I wanted. After a little while, I decided on the Hennessey red, French toast bacon and Tiramisu. Since I have to be careful of my sugar intake due to health reasons, I have been eating only 1/4 of the cupcake at a time. The tiramisu cupcake was delicious, moist and very flavorful. I know in the future I will do a special order of two dozen cupcakes for a birthday party, so there will be a return visit.

This place has the best cupcakes around!!! I wish they would come out to Livermore and open a shop. These cupcakes are highly habit forming and the staff has always been friendly.

The bakery never disappoints. Love the churro and the Hennessy red velvet! But they are all yummy.

These cupcakes were melt, in your mouth, amazing! They are at a wedding I attended, and I cannot stop thinking about the maple bacon!

We needed Comfort Food Therapy yesterday after our Court Date. What can be more comforting than Yummy'isous Cupcakes. The Lemon are Divine, my Hubby loves the Snickerdoodle.
