Our first visit last night will not be our last, food was excellent, but the portions were on the small side for the meal and the wine pairings, which was a little disappointing. The wine selection took place with each course. The Octopus was spectacular, I'll be back soon for another help. The lamb chopper was the best I ever had, melted in the mouth, could have polished half a dozen. The chiefs Choice was a little expensive, but was to be expected. The most likely À la carte will order next time. Food 10 Spectacular Service 7 (Busy, had to ask for water several times, not what is expected for $240/Meal. Price of value 6 (I want to get full and the wine pairing portions were so small could not enjoy with any course. Measuring length 7 (almost 2 hours had waited longer than expected between each course. Maybe build on your anticipation? Atmosphere 8 (Cool vibe, some were dressed, others were casual, wide age. It is a very small restaurant, certainly not a place where you expect to drop $100 when you go, but the meal makes you forget where you are. We celebrated a very special day (the woman and no recognition, not a big thing, but a candle in the dessert would have been nice.

Best experience I've had for years. Brock is the best. Ask him. Had the dega (cook tasting) menu. Chef Rigato is at the top. Unbelievable. The best. I used to be captain at Michelin's restaurant. Heavyweight 3 stars. 2 indeed. NYC and Chicago. To say that. I've been working in the restaurant business for over 20 years. This is the best place to offer Detroit. Lindsey has paired the menu so well. I've been in this business for a long time. I know what it takes to do it right. Mabel does. The staff did our night. Can't wait to go back. Look at it! Mabel Grey is one of my favorite places to eat. I have eaten all over the world and have a point to come here once a month. Last night, the menu was some of the best food I ever had! We always get max as our server and he helps to make this a fantastic experience when we come! Always excited to see what next on the menu!!!!

Dinner was nothing but amazing. We ordered the tasting menu, wine pairing and a few handmade cocktails. I love it when the bartender will ask what you want and then just something from the regular cocktail menu. Both Spencer and Paul were very well informed about the wines. Every dinner course was amazing- presented beautiful and delicious. Loved the cauliflower and cheese soup with tiny beets that burst with taste. Lamb with the spinach side was spectacular and the dessert was to die. All other courses were also on site. Water glass was constantly refilled and they were very attentive to bring clean cutlery out all night. Food, drink and service were perfect in every way!!

Fantastic meal. We did the tasting menu accompanied by the tasting drinks to go with it. The food and drink was delicious and presented beautifully! Our waiter Brock was fantastic as were all the staff! We can’t wait to go back!! Wonderful way to celebrate our 26th Anniversary!!
