Hapimag Resort Bad Gastein

The rich and famous were here 100 years ago and the place was beautifully restored. Each apartment has a small well-equipped kitchen, the pool, playground and fun playroom makes it wonderful for families with young children. All rooms in the original Kaiserhof are “Premium Category” but also those in the other 3 buildings connected to it are clean and spacious. We were here three times with our grandchildren and love it.

We have dined there twice during our stay. Once in the bar, a number of tables and once in the connecting dining room. Service very good on both occasions. Surround very nice in this very traditional well preserved buidling. Menu selection is excellent and we also have the special surf

All in all, it's a beautiful resort. But if we go into details, the pool is too little. The massage area could be larger with some seats after the massage. The relaxation area in the wellness centre could also be larger...

The Hapimag in Bad Gastein is built around a former Grand Hotel in this spa town. It meets the usual high Hapimag standards with excellent accommodation and ambience. Although usually only members, it sometimes does not leave units to non-members!

The restaurant is up to expectations if you know what you have booked: we had the Schnitzel experience which was fine, but a little bit crowded nevertheless there was always fresh food brought from the kitchen and the variety was amazing. Then we had the Brunch which was more of a lunch than breakfast the original breakfast ist very well for its price and the the Kaiserliche Dinner was a real experience, that settles it for me: the restaurant is to be recommended!
