Kaiser Catering - Helsingoer

We walked along a walking street in Helsingor after visiting the Kronborg to find a place for rather late lunch. Cafe Kaiser atmosphere drew us in. We ordered smorrebrod and there were abandance of the filling.

I have been here for both coffee and for lunch. I'd recommend the lunch, it is good and it is a nice casual atmosphere. Located very central on Stengade.

We were visiting the nearby Kronborg Castle and decided to walk through Helsingoer as it was so close. It was a wet and cold day so we ducked into this cozy little cafe to warm up and have a snack. We had only been in Denmark for a few hours and we were warmly welcomed by the very friendly staff who spoke English very well. At first we were just going to have something warm to drink my girlfriend had a tea and I had a marvellous hot chocolate but the food smelled so nice coming from the kitchen so we ordered some french fries. We got a heaping portion served up with ketchup and mayonnaise and they were nicely spiced too! It was a very relaxing atmosphere and we sat and watched people out on the street in the nice pedestrian area that is loaded with nice shops and restaurants. It was a great place to experience our first meal in Denmark and we both highly recommend it.

Great cafe with a lot of space. Extremely friendly staff and fast service. The burger was just awesome and I got really full. The prices are low and the quality is in the top. This is place you have to visit.

Our salad and burger were in order, but nothing that was very different or better than elsewhere. Good and cozy location on the pedestrian street. Friendly and polite service. The food came very fast and was warm and well-easy. Good lunch place.
