Akelarre Pedro Subijana - Hernani

Got the second of the two menus (started with a B) and it was absolutely amazing. Also went to another 3 star restaurant in Donostia during my trip but this was miles ahead in terms of flavor and inventiveness deserves a 4th star honestly. Service was flawless. Wine list had fewer by cup and non alcoholic options vs other fancy places; but different from competitors, all the wines I tried were phenomenal. Can’t recommend this place enough.

The restaurant offers two menu’s. We chose the Aranori which is composed of many dishes that combine simplicity, tradition, and authenticity. A unique experience that is definitely worth a special journey.

Perfect location with view of the sea. the restaurant has a 180* view of the cantabrico sea in everything it is pracht. the decoration was subtle, like the service. the tasting menu began to build slowly into a wonderful portion amazing taste and presentation. a great experience.

No he comido ni me he hospedado. Solo disfruté de la terraza en el Espacio Oteiza, probando cócteles variados de la mano del Maestro Patxi Troitiño. Mi favorito fue la liturgia del armado y composición ante tus ojos del cóctel DIPLOMISÚ, ¡es incomparable! Para muchos, la ubicación es desconocida. El ambiente musical es agradable, hay comodidad, paisajes que solo se pueden describir de forma poética, y el trato es excelente y amable. Es un lujo al alcance de todos... Te recomiendo programar una visita para ver la puesta de sol. Se te hará corta la estancia. Servicio: 5 Ambiente: 5

Un lugar de ensueño, una comida deliciosa, una atención insuperable. Se siente paz y tranquilidad. Un verdadero placer.
