In search of a great breakfast in High River!!!We dropped by Southfork on a recommendation from a cafe owner. The place is clean and brand new with cheerful service and an ample selection on the menu. The meal itself was tasty but presentation was disturbingly anemic. Beige is an understatement. I don't think the cook put any thought into this. The price ? High. High for a good meal. 30$ for two is high for what we got. Alas, still looking for a breakfast joint in High River. ...Go up the road to Sweetgrass in Okotoks for a memorable breakfast that doesn't disappoint.

Went for breakfast. Service was good, food was tasty. Little shy on the hash browns. Washrooms were very clean.

Great food and service. But it's o n 1 st SW. Not on SE like it show on the map. Three pieces of french toast would have been better than two.

Most in our group had breakfast (served all day here).-Veggie Omelet w/2 toast & shredded hash browns-$12.95-1 "Banger" sausage w/2 eggs, shredded hash browns & 2 toast-$12.50.-Beef Dip sandwich w/Au Jus & Fries (frozen, not fresh cut)-$10.75.-Eggs Benedict-2 eggs with ham w/"hollandaise" sauce, on a homemade biscuit & shredded hash browns-$11.25.When comment was made to (owner ?), that shredded hash browns w/eggs benny meal "seemed lacking in serving size for price". But (she) offered to bring an order out to make up for it (no charge). Kudos for the gesture!Only constructive comment would be that the hollandaise sauce, on the Eggs Benedict, wasn't quite right.Was more like a white gravy.Tasted ok, just not a real hollandaise.We felt that the prices were rather high for the serving sizes allaround. But food tasted good.Coffee was good. Free refills.Server was very polite.Restaurant wasn't full (arrived around 11:30am on a Thursday) throughout our meal. So wasn't loud, just right.Overall very clean restaurant (we didn't use the washrooms, so can't review).This restaurant has been remodelled. Kind of an industrial feel w/western accents. Very nice.Booth type seating on two walls, one side faces street.Several tables in between booth seating.We would say this is one of the nicest, cleanest restaurants in High River.We feel the " all day breakfast", is a bonus!
