Burgers On Bishop - Honolulu

This is one of my go to burger spots, and while I rarely go to downtown because of the traffic and parking situations, I make exceptions to pick up Liz' addictive sidewinder fries and burgers all the time! The Niihau Lamb Burger and Wagyu Burger with Mushrooms are my go to burger menu items. The meat is always so thick, juicy, and cooked perfectly between the soft buns. The mushrooms are a must because there's just something different about the way she prepares them that gives them a deep, buttery umami to it that you can't find anywhere else. The I could probably eat two orders of those sidewinder fries alone because they're just that good. They're thick, fluffy on the inside and perfectly golden brown crispy on the outside. I love the regular beer battered ones because you can actually taste the subtle hoppiness to it, and I also LOVE the garlic truffle ones. There are about five tables in the restaurant and Liz also makes the BEST desserts and pastries ever. You need to try her cookie and croissant bread pudding! Every Friday is Pau Hana night at Burgers on Bishop where they feature live music and a delicious rotating dinner menu. The last time we dined in for dinner we got the 3lb Tomahawk Steak, fried fish, and caesar salad along with, of course, the fries. The Pau Hana nights are so fun and it might become a tradition of ours to visit Liz interacted with all of the tables like they were family (and some were here family! and it made us feel so warm and welcoming !

I got wagyu w/ mushroom onion burger and truffle fries. It's so good! Whenever I feel like craving fries, definitely I would come to this place again !!!

So we haven't stopped by since pre-Covid Was so happy that they are still open. Seen Liz and got her recommendations for my burger like always. I got a Niihau lamb burger w/ Bam compote, jalapeño, pepper jack cheese, and sunny side up egg and Garlic truffle fries There is parking downstairs and still have military discount. We will be back and see you folks again soon

There are only two things you need to know: 20 minutes free parking in the building (entrance on Ala Moana Blvd./Nimitz Highway), and the restaurant is in the Fort Street Tower, not the Bishop Street Tower. Of course, the dining room is great, but Burgers on Bishop is a fantastic take out option, whether or not you work downtown.
