Vintage Cave Café - Honolulu

I wasn't particularly impressed by the restaurant located near the baths. The food was average, and the service left a lot to be desired. While the dishes were presented elaborately, they ultimately didn't deliver a memorable experience.

In our party of three, two of us were happy with our meals, while the third person found the pizza unappealing. Initially, the servers were attentive, but as the meal progressed, we felt a bit overlooked. That said, all the servers were friendly.

I had a fantastic meal! The snapper was perfectly cooked and paired with a lovely sauce; it was deliciously sweet. The beef carpaccio was exquisite, literally melting in my mouth. My friend's dish was also excellent.

Had told there is birthday and no one there remember to say happy birthday or did anything special for the birthday person . A bit too formal on decoration inside but still quite nice .

I was excited to treat my best friend for her bday lunch and was disappointed at the level of service. First, our server informed us that the bottle of wine we ordered was not available. She did not offer a substitute and was not willing to speak with her manager when we requested for a substitute. We finally settled on another more expensive bottle and she struggled opening it so we offered to open it for her or suggested her bartender do it for us. When she poured out the bottle, she did not offer a taste either! We were appalled! Second, as I went to the restroom I almost bumped into who looked like the MOD as he rushed out of a back room and whom did not acknowledge the run in. I thought that was quite rude. With the stellar reputation of the Vintage Cave, I was very disappointed with our experience. I hope this serves as a training opportunity. Mahalo! Valerie
