Ohrid - Horst

To call us regulars, we are not often enough here but if we have appetite for Balkan cuisine, we usually go to Ohrid. So regularly about 2x a year we will take 20km by car, although there are other similar offers nearby. No wonder our experiences with food and taste are unsurpassed here. So now our update for 2015 2018 accordingly with consistent quality : General/Lage/Ambiente: Dörflich rustikal in the village of Horst near Elmshorn have always hidden their own exit at the A23 straight ahead and just in front of the center left off a bit. Parking is available in front of the restaurant and opposite. The opening hours of the homepage, the delivery and the door stop vary in the afternoon between 17:30 and 18:00 but still on good luck before 17:00 we were kindly invited through the open door We have opened! The guest expects a well-maintained, clean but also some restaurant that has come into the years. In view of the function as an uncomplicated village meeting point with very mixed audience nevertheless suitable. Offer: Classical Balkans and steak card meat-loaded, cheap and with quite large selection. Operation: Kindly friendly, played and attentive. Extensive handing of cards and the house of Julischka. Food and drink: Shortly after our order Pola Pola Half and Half with Cevapcici and Rasnici, Djuvecreis, Pommes and Salad €10.80; Pljeskavica Zigeuner Art Hacksteak filled with edamer cheese and onions, Djuvecreis, Pommes and Salat €10.80 we took the pleasant barbecue smell from the kitchen. 0.5l Laski Riesling fresh and slightly 7.40€. Mineral water 0.25l 1.80€. Shortly afterwards, the appetizer salad is crunchyly fresh, rich and with well-lubricated house dressing is marinated and not soaked. But not too fast we received the plentiful main dishes well scented and an extra dish of the homemade spicy gypsy sauce with some garlic. Rice juicy with good vegetable content and neat crispy fries accompanied the well seasoned meat: the meat skewer juicy roasted and delicate with the classic firmer cepapcici round and balanced. On the other hand, the huge super juicey chop steak filled with very delicately melted cheese a real male portion and very hearty and tasty. I didn't get that good elsewhere. To everything, the ground sauce harmonises extremely. Two more Julischka 1,60€ and the evening is saved... Price Performance/Factory: Here very good Balkan cuisine is offered at moderate prices. Always friendly and happy to avoid the gear on the scale on the following day... We wish the seemingly healthily afflicted confessed boss a good improvement and hopefully many successful years.

The ambience is OK. But the food is tastefully amazing!
