Joe's Coney Island - Houghton Lake

Oh my gosh. For a coney place they have the best fish. Parking: They need more. Of course if they do that the place won't be big enough. So leave it as is

Good food and really good prices, definitely coming back!

Our first time at Joe’s Coney Island and most certainly won’t be our last! ???? Everything about this visit was top notch, to say the least! My wife and I got the Lamb Gyro with fries which were delicious! The fries ? were fresh, crisp, and full of flavor! The lamb was tender and savor and pita was soft and fresh. Our daughter got the half order of the Nacho supreme and when asking her what did she think of her nachos for the review, she responded, “These nachos are BOMB ? AF!” Safe to say if you love nachos, “bomb AF” tells you it’s where it’s at! ???? And lastly the customer service for a carry out order was stellar! The lady at the counter was so nice, friendly, patient and understanding! She delivered us world class customer service and made our day and experience the cherry ? on top of this awesome Joe’s Coney Island experience!!! ??? If you are passing through or in the area enjoying the surrounding lake vibes, dry off and get your appetite ready for Joe’s Cont Island, you’ll leave here happy and full! A ??

Will not EVER eat here again! It was 2 days ago and I 'm still blown away about how disgusting the food was! I ordered a Kogel Chili Omelet with hashbrowns that was actually pretty good. My Wife ordered a BLT Wrap that had old dried out bacon, wilted lettuce, and cheap watered down ranch. I also ordered an appetizer of freezer burned sav-a-lot perogis while our daughter had sav-a-lot mac-n-cheese bites that tasted like cardboard. The server couldn 't care less about the quality of the food after bringing the issues to her attention and instead rewarded us with a $60.00 bill ! Yeah, I said $60, for an Omelet, a wrap, 2 appetizers and 3 drinks! In addition, the bill she gave us said $53 but charged us more! This place has gone so down hill!! I ate here for decades and it was never like this. I new Joe was no longer associated with this place, because he would have never tolerated that type of food quality but I asked and the server said someone named Carla was the owner but not available. Unless you want to be ripped off by food quality and additional charges you weren 't told about I recommend going somewhere else! We will never return!!! SIDE NOTE: The Owner 's Comments on other food and service quality reviews prove this isn 't an isolated experience and that they would rather spend more time ridiculing customers with cynical responses, insults, and diversion than fix the issues.

Visiting Michigan to see my mom at 1 of the first things I always have is a koegles hot dog. They were amazing and cooked perfectly
