La Paillote De Pirate - Houmt Souk

I have come to this restaurant for more than 10 years and the quality of food has not changed! Many amuses are served with the dish (chorba ,brick,charmoula).For dishes plan between 18dt and 40dt large max! The service is of high quality and the owner is adorable! Amazing seafood and low price. Very nice owner. But better to call before coming to make sure that the restaurant is open because (he said) now there's staff shortage. When we came there was nobody but us in the restaurant so the service was quick. I had fresh and delicious squid. Also best french fries I've tried in my life.

We were looking for decent restaurant at houmt souk, stumble upon this little jewel after a few others were close for the afternoon. The owner was nice although limited English but he gave us free appetizers since we were the first customer for the evening. The meal was excellent and he checked in on us even though he doesn't speak much English. I had the seafood pasta, generous amount of seafood and my wife had grill fish.
