It seemed like it might have been pre-made and simply warmed up, in our opinion. Regardless, we were very disappointed. This was our last visit to Scene, which is unfortunate because it used to be lively, with a broader menu and tasty options that provided good value for money. To make matters worse, it appeared that our actual server was one of the several employees enjoying Domino's Pizza in a booth behind us. We found ourselves wishing we had ordered Domino's instead. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend spending your hard-earned money at Scene.
It was exactly what we were looking for something quiet posh, and a little unique. The sushi was over the top delicious the service was amazing very friendly, very accommodating, and the drinks did their job.
We had a lovely, quiet evening out without the kids. The service was excellent, and the sushi was fantastic, as expected! This time, we decided to treat ourselves to the truffle fries, which were absolutely delicious—rich and elegantly presented. It made for a wonderful date night!
Though we were only a party of 3, the waitress seated us at the round table where our group (normally 5 6) had spent many a Friday night prior to covid. It was very kind of them brought back good memories. Everyone was very nice, food was great! Thank you for a wonderful time!
The Scene no longer accepts reservations! Even if you make one through OpenTable, they won't have any record of it and won't honor it. Fortunately, they weren't very busy when we visited. Additionally, it was quite odd that The Scene doesn't offer any iced tea, neither sweet nor unsweetened. This is the first place I've encountered in the South that doesn't serve tea! They have definitely changed since being taken over by Cinemark.
